Any NEW NUTRITIONAL or EXERCISE ROUTINE introduced into the body will show results! TO MAINTAIN THE BODY in the "losing weight" stage beyond 3- 4 weeks is a bit difficult to the general population in USA. Usually dieters go off their "DIET" and return to their usual eating habits and gain back more! This is usually due to placing the body under stress LESS CALORIES FROM BEFORE which under a long period of time places the body in "STARVATION MODE". Body metabolism begins to slow down. The dieter goes back to their regular eating habits and ....BAM...puts on the weight they lost and maybe even more!
Now, apply this concept for those who yo-yo diet. No wonder why people are so confused. There must be a maintence phase or change in eating habits that complement the diet used.
